My best friend

I am so thankful for my best friend. He understands me like no one else. He takes care of me physically, emotionally, financially, and spiritually. We talk about everything. We have so much fun together. We play games, throw a ball, walk down the road, visit memories we have from being kids. He takes my breath away still. I admire him alot. He has integrity without spot. He is handsome--those blue eyes, that smile...that dimple below his left eye. It melts me! He works very hard. His hands are not soft, but they are very strong, secure and stable. He is confident, soft spoken and careful. He is persistent, pointed, driven. He is an honest and loyal man. He is not perfect, but he is perfect for me.

 We like fancy restaurants. We have coffee together alot. Ice cream too. They are our weaknesses. We dream together. We don't get sick of one another. We enjoy each other's company. We plan our future. We live life. We give each other "that look" and know what it means at that moment. We don't yell at each other. We quote lines from movies randomly, and we laugh! We pray together. We share our struggles without (too much) embarrassment. We pray FOR each other. We encourage each other. We share what God is doing in our lives and our life together. We share words of wisdom and promise from God's Word. We lean on Him.

He is a great dad! He loves our kids! He spends time with them. He holds them, encourages them. He challenges them. He never puts them down or demeans them. He doesn't "let them win". He teaches them new things. He teaches them Bible lessons and character of God. He teaches them new things. He is interested in their interests. He wrestles with them. He flies them like airplanes and Superman. He IS Superman to them!

I married him 8+ years ago. I met him 17+ years ago. I am so in love with him. He is my best friend. I miss him badly!
